Catherine Lomauro is teaching "Gender, Culture, and American Education" this year at the Governor's School. Catherine holds a BA in English and Spanish from Drew University and a MA in Humanities and Social Thought from NYU. This is her fourth year on the GSPI faculty, and she was a scholar in 1997. During the rest of the year, Catherine is part of the Language Arts Department in the Montville Township School District.
S. P. Udayakumar (Kumar) works as a Fellow in the international program of the Kirwan Institute for the Study of Race and Ethnicity, Ohio State University, Columbus. He is also a political and anti-nuclear activist in India and manages the SACCER School and other social service projects at Nagercoil, Tamil Nadu, India.
Henry Suhr (Hank) is teaching a course called Environmental Politics: Suburbia, the American Dream Derailed. He has a B.S.in Environmental Science from Allegheny College, a Masters in Theology from Duke University and is a doctoral candidate at Rutgers University in Political Science. This is his 7th year as a faculty member at The Governor's School. He presently is an adjunct instructor at Geneva College in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania where he lives with his wife Renee and his sons Jacob and Simon.

Jim O'Halloran is teaching "Issues in Constitutional Law: Freedom, Rights, and Current Challenges." Jim has a BA in History from Rutgers College and a JD from Rutgers University. This is his sixth year as a faculty member with Governor's School of Public Issues. Jim is also a member of the faculty at The Wardlaw-Hartridge School, where he is part of the History Department and serves as Dean of Students
