Policy:
Monmouth University, consistent with its Human Relations Philosophy and Policy Statement, sets forth the following policy regarding sexual harassment. The University, in accordance with federal and state regulations, will attempt to protect the rights of its faculty, non-faculty employees, and students to work and study in an environment free from all forms of sexual harassment.
Procedure:
Any member of the Monmouth University community may report incidents of discrimination/sexual harassment to the Director of Affirmative Action, the Vice President for Administrative Services, or the Provost/Vice President for Academic Affairs. In addition, students may also report violations to the Vice President for Student Services.

Training Requirement:
All employees of Monmouth University are reqired to complete a self-paced sexual harassment training program entitled Preventing Sexual Harassment. This program instructs the employee on the various aspects of sexual harassment in the workplace. The program may be reached at http://www.monmouth.edu/sexualharassment. Periodically, the Office of Affirmative Action, Human Relations and Compliance will hold workshops on preventing sexual harassment for employees who do not because of their job activities have access to computers.
