English is the language of the modern world, spoken by millions of people in education, business, and every field of cultural and international relations.
It is also the language of the future. As technology advances, international communication becomes even more important - led by the culture and "know-how" of the United States. America, therefore, is the place in which to learn.
That's why Anglo-Continental teaches English in America - to give its students the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in their academic and professional lives.
Knowledge and skills alone, of course, are not enough. To communicate successfully we need to know the country and its people - their life, their culture and their ways; to talk with them, see how they think and work and spend their leisure time. Speak with the confidence that comes from real experience.
Anglo-Continental offers you this opportunity, and more, at its centers in the USA.
Our Qualifications
Anglo-Continental is uniquely qualified to teach English. Since 1950 more than 300,000 students from all parts of the world - and of every age, race, creed and walk of life - have attended our courses in England and the United States. Our expertise and our methodology are well established and well known.
Our schools were among the first to obtain government recognition in Britain, and they are officially accredited in both countries. Our year-round centers in the USA are regularly inspected and approved by ACCET, the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training - your assurance of the highest standards.
Our Methods
Our long experience also includes many years as officially appointed teacher-trainers - giving native English-speaking teachers the skills and qualifications they need to teach the language in our own and other schools. In this way, Anglo-Continental's courses stay one step ahead.
Our advanced teaching methodology is the product of this experience, our constant research and development, and our continuous study of the latest methods and techniques. Our approach is centered on our students - their needs, their interests and their enjoyment of their work - and so we offer lively participation and interaction in a wide spectrum of learning activities in the context of American life.
