Ecosystems Analysis - BY 420
Ecosystems Analysis is an applied ecology course that combines lectures, hands-on field and laboratory activities, and focused data collection and analysis to allow participating students to understand techniques used by scientists and environmental managers in order to develop information necessary to perform key functions associated with ecosystem management.

Tropical Island Ecology – BY 317
Tropical Island Ecology focuses on investigations of plants, animals, and natural ecosystems of the Bahamas archipelago with emphasis on marine ecosystems, island ecology, resource management, and sustainable development. The course includes a two week (14 days) research experience held at the Island School in collaboration with the Cape Eleuthera Institute, at Cape Eleuthera, The Bahamas each January during winter break.
