When we submit project 2, should we submit the client side main.cc and the
implementation of the functions defined in the service file?
That's up to you. I'll be running your code with my own service description
files and user code, so you don't need to include them for testing. However,
you might want to make sure that everything's working o.k., and for that you
can include a small rpc service which your makefile builds from scratch.
Alternatively, you could just build srpc-gen and run-time systems. Or you
could do nothing.
Note, however, that, unlike the first assignment, I'm not going to rewrite your
code if it doesn't work correctly. If I can't get the test to run with the
code you submit, your code fails that test.
