Apparently the description of the clock system call is not as clear as it
could be. I've updated the clock description on the assignment 1 page to make
it less confusing (I hope). The new description is:
Register 1 contains 0 if the lock is to be unlocked when created; otherwise,
if register 1 contains any value other than 0, the lock is locked. After the
call, register 0 contains the call status and register 1 contains the newly
created lock's id if there were no errors; if there were errors, the contents
of register 1 is arbitrary.
I have not changed the meaning of the clock system call; the behavior of clock
remains the same. I have just made the description less confusing (I hope).
