This sentence was added at the request of a student who waited until the last
minute to turn-in an assignment. Unfortunately, the student called the group
file group.txt
, and took longer than a minute to figure out what was
wrong, at a cost of 10 points for being late.
The morals of this little tale of woe are:
- Understand what it is you’re supposed to do.
- If you understand how to do something, you should be able do it repeatedly
with success.
- If meeting a deadline requires that you understand how to do something
successfully, give yourself plenty of time before the deadline to make sure
you understand what it is you’re supposed to do.
