  I am still having problems with the seek system call on the bad.dsk program
  in assignment 4.

What you're having problems with is closing a file that hasn't been opened.
pa4-bad.dsk was printing the wrong error message for that case. I've fixed
it and updated the disks. Apologies for any problems this has caused.
