Another page on the tcpdump tutorial's web site is a list of security interview
questions. Although this course doesn't emphasize network security, some of
the questions you should be able to answer from your reading and other work:

What kind of network do you have at home?

What port does ping work over? (a tricky question, answered in K&R chapter 4)

How exactly does traceroute/tracert work at the protocol level? (not tricky,
but also covered in chapter 4).

What's the difference between HTTP and HTML? (chapter 2)

How does HTTP handle state? (Careful, chapter 2)

If I'm on my laptop, here inside my company, and I have just plugged in my
network cable. How many packets must leave my NIC in order to complete a
traceroute to twitter.com? (I admit to not understanding the answer to this
  question).

And remember, "yeah, that's sorta right" doesn't cut it for answers to
interview question, particularly for security.
