I have a few questions about the test: 1. The test covers Chapters 1 and 2 of Kurose and Ross, 5th edition, with the exception of proxies, which are in chapter 4. The test covers Chapters 1 and 2 of any edition of K&R. With respect to the readings, which doesn't cover what we talk about in class, the test can cover anything in the intersection of the relevant chapters of all editions of K&R. Second, I don't think we covered proxies. We talked about rewriting virtual-circuit identifiers, which was sec. 1.4.2 in early editions and 4.2.1 in later editions. If VC id rewriting is on the test, it's because we talked about it in class, not because it was part of the readings, because it wasn't for everyone. 2. A cheat sheet is a one sided paper with handwritten notes. It can be two sided. See the "one page of notes" link ( bluehawk.monmouth.edu/~rclayton/web-pages/s14-cn/sn-index-0.html ) in the first paragraph of the grading section ( tinyurl.com/mucscns14h#toc_anchor_6 ) of the class homepage ( tinyurl.com/mucscns14h ) for details. 3. The test has six questions in the learning format you showed us in first lecture. Yes.Received on Mon Feb 03 2014 - 13:39:35 EST
