Streams and files reading.

  You mentioned something about streams and files not being in the book.  I
  don't exactly remember what you said regarding that.

The 8th ed. doesn't have a chapter on stream io; it's chapter 12 in the 7th ed.
There's a link to sun's stream-io tutorial (they call it a trail) on the
syllabus if you have the 8th ed.  The tutorial's is not in a convenient format
for printing (or reading on screen, for that matter); I may cobble up a better
version.
