Send-receive paper.

I read the send-receive paper last night and I've decided to make it optional
reading. Although some of the points made early in the paper apply in a
straightforward way distributed computing, most of the paper leans too heavily
on parallel programming and the relevance to client-server computing is obscure
(although not absent). I'll probably spend twenty or so minutes on it at the
start of tomorrow's lecture (Thursday, 12 February).
