It has been pointed out to me by one of your colleagues that my solution to the
second programming assignment is incorrect: the same strings input in different
orders produces different compressed strings.
I have updated my solution to the assignment so that the compressed string is
independent of input order, as it should properly be. Apologies for any
inconvenience.
The problem occurred in the one procedure I didn't test because the procedure
was "obviously correct" and I couldn't figure out an easy way to test it (which
was a warning sign I chose to ignore).
