  The assignment page has "This assingnment is due by 2 PM on Tuesday, 2
  February", but February 2 is Monday. When is due for this assignment on
  Monday or on Tuesday?

The first assignment is due on Tuesday, 3 February. The assignment page has
been fixed (the syllabus is correct). Apologies for any inconvenience it may
have caused.
