The project 3 page has following line: "All communication between clients the
Directory and Suppliers should be provided by the sRPC system you implemented
for the second project"

Does it mean that "All communication between clients AND the Directory and
Suppliers..."?

  Yes; I've fixed the project page to to correct the error:

    All communication between clients, the Directory and the Suppliers (that
    is, all inter-process communication) should be provided by the sRPC system
    you implemented for the second project.
