When you get your response back from a submission or test, make sure you check
the last command line in the message to see if your assignment was linked to
form an executable. You should see a line that looks like

  $ g++ -g -o gen-cmds gen-cmds.o

If you don't see a line that looks like that, then your assignment had a
compilation error. Assignments with compilation errors are not accepted as
submissions; you should fix the error and re-submit.

I'm going to change the mailing software to make clear that the assignment's
been rejected because of compilation error, but until I do you should check to
see what happened to your assignment.
