I've noticed that some printed copies of assignment 2 don't have complete
descriptions of some of the escape sequences. If you're having difficulty
using the escape sequences, you should compare your printed copy of assignment
2 (if you're using one) with the on-line copy to make sure you're using the
complete escape sequence.

Also, it seems that escape sequences don't travel well over the network, at
least for some people. If you're using correct escape sequences but nothing's
happening, try sitting directly in front of the machine that's running your
program. Accessing the machine remotely via the network may not work.
