Mission Statement

The Mission Statement of the Monmouth University Police Department is to protect and serve the members of the University community as well as visitors to our campus. The Department will ensure a safe environment throughout campus, including parking lots, classrooms and all University buildings. The University Police will identify and eliminate hazards and opportunities for crime, investigate and follow up on all crime and incidents, and will enforce all laws and University policies. The Department will utilize a community policing philosophy and strive for excellence. The Department will provide quality customer service at all times. Return to MUPD Home Page
