Hawk Alert 99-02

March 19, 1999

The Monmouth University Police Department is investigating an act of Harassment wherein perpetrator(s) misrepresented themselves as University officials and sent a fraudulent e-mail message to a resident student. This message contained false information regarding random searches of the Residential Halls.

The University Police Department, along with Information Systems and other authorities are investigating this act.
