How to trace a harassing phone call on campus:

In our continuing effort to increase the safety and security of everyone here at Monmouth, the phone system has been equipped with "Malicious Call Trace." Malicious Call Trace gives administrators, staff, faculty and resident students the ability to trace a harassing phone call.

If you feel you are being harassed by phone, while speaking to the caller:

• Depress the switch-hook slightly (just like you would to activate call waiting).
• Press * 9 9
• Return to the caller for a moment and hang up.
• Contact the Monmouth University Police Department at 571-3472 to report the harassing call to the Dispatcher and an Officer will respond to your location immediately to take a report.
