Requirements for Admission to the Master of Arts in Liberal Studies Program

Applicants for admission must:

• Have earned an overall undergraduate GPA of 2.5 with a 3.0 GPA in the undergraduate major.
• Provide official transcripts of all undergraduate and any graduate work done elsewhere. (Up to nine credits of approved graduate course work from other institutions may be transferred with the permission of the department chair.)
• Provide two letters of recommendation covering the candidate's professional qualifications to pursue graduate work.

Financial Aid:

All full-time students enrolled in the program are eligible to seek financial help. There are three types of aid:

1) Graduate assistantships working for a professor.

2) Graduate research assistantships (stipends) working with faculty involved in research.

3) Low-interest federal loans (available to American students only.)

Students applying for admission to the Master of Arts in Liberal Studies should return the completed application, along with the $35.00 non-refundable application fee to:
