#11 - STEVE BRIDGEMOHAN


QUICKLY: Returns as the squad's starter at power forward... Offers the Hawks both an offensive and defensive presence in the paint... Has shown constant improvement in each of his first two seasons... Improved strength and quickness in the offseason.

EUROPEAN TOUR: Played in four games on Monmouth's tour of France and Switzerland... Missed one game due to an injury... Averaged 4.4 points and 4.2 rebounds per game on the trip... Logged 7 points and six rebounds in the tour opener vs. Entente Orleanaise... Averaged 7.0 points and 7.0 rebounds in the final two games.

1999-2000 (Sophomore): Played in all 28 games for the Hawks as a sophomore, including 26 starts... Averaged 5.0 points and 4.3 rebounds per game... Led the team with a .523 field goal percentage... Ranked second on the squad in blocked shots with 12 and was third in rebounding... Posted 11 points and seven rebounds in loss vs. Columbia (12/3)... Booked 11 points and nine rebounds in 69-44 victory over Long Island (1/24)... Registered eight points and eight rebounds in the following game vs. Quinnipiac (1/29) Ranked second on the squad with 92 fouls and fouled out of a team -high six games.

1998-99 (Freshman): Appeared in all 26 games, including 13 starts... Averaged 4.0 points and 3.1 rebounds per game... Recorded first career double-double with career-highs in points (13) and rebounds (10) vs. Quinnipiac (2/8)... Ranked second on the team in blocks with 16... Scored 10 points and sparked a 7-0 run late in the game in MU's 66-61 victory over Wagner (2/1).

HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year letterwinner at North Brunswick (N.J.) High School... Averaged 16.3 points, 9.5 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game as a senior... Led NBHS to a 21-5 record as a senior... Shot 61 percent from the floor and earned All-Middlesex County honors as a senior... Also tabbed second-team Group II All-New Jersey... Participated in the New Jersey State All-Star Game.

PERSONAL: Son of Trevor and Yvonne Bridgemohan... Born October 23, 1979 in Englewood, N.J... Majoring in communications.
