An Introduction to Massage Therapy and Bodywork's

This two hour seminar will introduce the student to the various forms of massage therapy, such as Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Shiatsu and Reiki. Benefits of the different therapy forms and their integration into your nursing skills will be discussed. State licensure, professional organizations and opportunities in the field will be highlighted. Plan to attend this two hour overview course if you are interested in developing additional skills, want an overview of therapeutic massage interventions, or if you are interested in more information about a Level I Massage Course currently in development for Spring 2001.
