All elective courses must be chosen with and approved by your advisor.

The following courses are listed as "suggested  electives" which means you can register for these courses and after approval they will count towards the completion of the MAT program. Other courses, at the graduate level only, may be taken with the Program Director's or Academic Advisor's approval. These can be other courses in Education or courses in other academic departments in the university.
Please note that not all of these courses are offered every semester. Please check the course schedule.

ED 508 Literacy Trends in the Classroom (Online, must have taken ED 503)

ED 512 Secondary School Content Literacy (may substitute as requirement for ED 563 for secondary content certification)
