for Ust to upgrade the Rangers program. In just her first year, she
helped the team triple its win total from the previous season.
Before her tenure at Drew, Ust served as an assistant coach at Princeton University, where she helped the Tigers to a 16-10 record. Her first coaching assignment out of college came in New Brunswick, NJ, where she coached the varsity squad at St. Peter's High School. Ust, a 1992 graduate of Rutgers, had a standout playing career. A two-time team MVP, she led the Scarlet Knights to four-straight NCAA Tournament berths. She was named to the Atlantic-10 All-Rookie team in 1987-88 and served as team captain in each of her final two seasons. On the high school level, Ust led Hoffman High School to three state titles in the mid-eighties. The squad lost just five games in her four years as Ust posted 2,191 points and over 1,000 rebounds. Ust resides in Brick, NJ. |
